no internet and no home phone. how did i survive this terrible ordeal? i'm joking of course. although i did feel a little cut off from the world. i have unlimited calls on my mobile so it was all ok. the technician just left and it was a fault at the exchange. what did i do before the internet? oh yes, i had a life. i've just started watching dowton abbey. i'm up to series 2. i now see what all the fuss is about. it's great.
Love the cartoons. We are watching the last episode soon.
ReplyDeletehi Diane, it's a shame it only went for six series. it's very watchable. hope you are well
DeleteThe days before the internet - can remember what I used to do, but then I was working then and not retired as I am now.
ReplyDeleteWe are waiting for the NBN!
Downton Abbey, seems you haven't watched it before.
I'm re watching it on Netflix and have finished Series 5, now have to wait for Series 6 (which I have seen to the very end) to be put on, will be awhile.
Enjoy.
i can hardly remember what i did before the internet and of course i worked until a year or so ago. i love downton abbey. i can't wait until shirley maclain comes into it. hope you are well Margaret
DeleteIf my house is clean, it is a sign i am procrastinating from other more painful work. When i was studying at uni, my house was very clean, especially around assignment due dates.
