absolutely nothing going on here

i haven't posted for yonks so thought i'd better do one.  not a whole lot to report really.  work is the same.  i've had the g/kids last weekend which was lots of fun.  i went on a bike ride with ants and had an enjoyable time.  i expected to be sore in the legs and toosh but my shoulders were quite sore afterwards.  better now.

i washed the car and vacuumed it today which was long overdue. i took it to one of those do it yourself carwashes.  i didn't know what i was doing but managed to finish the job without too much drama.  i wanted the g/kids to go with me to help but will take them next time.  i did some washing and a little bit of shopping.  i've sort of finished my xmas shopping.  maybe one or two more.  the family is coming over for lunch on the 24th and we are having turkey, chicken and salads.  i've purchased the pudding already.  i hope the weather is kind to us.  :)

i contacted the council about the tree they cut down and low and behold they are not replacing it atm.  they'll look into it next year.  not happy jan.  :(  must purchase an outside awning for the bedroom window.

    Nice to see you post again. I am having trouble keeping up with commenting as we have so much on now that it is the end of year party time.

      hi Diane, yes it is the busiest time of the year isn't it? the shops are crazy atm and finding a park is difficult. i've just about finished my shopping. almost, and i posted some cards the other day. not as many as previous years. i haven't received one yet.

    Good to see a post from you, was wondering if you were ok.
    I always buy Christmas Puddings, never made one in my life yet!

      hello whiteangel. yes, i'm fine, just busy. thank you for caring. i tried to make puddings in the past and was usually a major disaster. i always buy them now. luckily my dil and sister enjoy them as much as me.

    glad to know there is no big drama going on.

    I am apparently, getting a cosmic reminder to clean out the back seat of the car (since you have mentioned it and the lady across the road has been doing the same in her driveway)... there are white nose prints on the windows from the dog's sunscreen smeared nose. Hair everywhere too. I have turned into one of those people who if they suddenly had extra passengers would be blushing red and saying "I'm so sorry"

    well anyway, hope you are enjoying the lead up to the holidays and have a good one!

      i have been embaressed to have friends in the car lately. i couldn't put off cleaning it any longer. looks a lot better now. i don't have a doggie to mess up the car, the g/kids and i do a great job all by ourselves. :) hope your christmas break is enjoyable and fun
