oh dear

there i was, minding my own business, going outside to shift some stuff when i spied a large huntsman right on the doorstep.  i'm not too scared of spiders, most of the time.  this one rudely ran over the door step into the dining room and across the floor and then hid under the cupboard.  i'm sorry spider but i had to spray you.  then the room.  then a bit more.  i can't find it but i just know that it's going to appear when i least expect it.  i just know it.

    Huntsman spiders usually only come inside looking for water. maybe you could put a dish of water outside. Scurrying in like that, perhaps he was running from something.

      i think i scared it when i opened the door. i found it belly up about half an hour after i sprayed. poor spider. :) i have a small bird bath just outside the veranda. :) it's been the weather for spiders and bugs lately. very hot.
