a book recommendation

i'm half way through 'eat pray love' atm and i love this book. it's written by elizabeth gilbert. basically after a marriage breakup (long and arduous) and a relationship breakdown (also long and arduous), she travels to italy, india and indonesia. well naturally i got it for the bali part but it's very readable and i'm enjoying it. i've just finished the italy bit and have started the india trip. she stays at an ashram run by her guru. very good stuff. read it if it appeals and/or you'd like. it's overdue atm so i'm reading as fast as i can. i had insomnia last night. i went to sleep about 11.30 pm and woke again at 1.30 am. went to loo and just couldn't get back to sleep. came downstairs and made milky drink, watched those ads on tv, you know for pimple stuff and exercise gear ones, and surfed the net. eventually went to bed about 3.30 am. woke at 8.00 am and feel a bit tired now. it's cold and windy here today, i've got the day off work coz my sister is coming down for a visit. have a lovely day. bfn

  1. Sounds like an interesting book...
Weather has been a bit chilly but I must admit I do prefer this kind of weather...Much easier to get warm than try to keep cool....

  2. Hi Fran,
The night wakes are my usual fare..especially on moonlight nights. I am a prolific reader and have run out of authors. Notice in your profile you enjoy amy tan? Will try the library for the book you are currently reading and also check out amy tan. I need to get away from my usual fare which is world conspiracy or sci fi, fantasy fiction murder and mystery. Your weather seems to have improved for the better....Kind regards, Lizzie
