i'm back

http://picasaweb.google.com/princessyevisha/BaliOctober2008 this is a link to some photos i took. click on 'slideshow' when it loads. enjoy.
well i'm back. i had the best time of course and did lots of things and saw lots of things i've not done/seen before. i met some lovely people and had a ball. i'm a bit tired and emotional still but ok. the kids came over tonight for hugs, presents and pizza. i missed them terribly. i had a dream flight from bali to perth and sat next to a vet who is working on the orangutan project in borneo. only $55 per year to sponsor one. http://www.orangutan.org.au/ i had a lovely chat with him and got through customs etc in perth quickly and effortlessly. i spent way too much money of course and i was absolutely knocked out by the news that obama is now pres. of the usa. a black man president, that's amazing. wow, maybe a woman next time? the monsters in bali haven't been put to death as i type but it won't be long. shooting is way too good for them but what can you do? it's better than keeping them in jail and treating them like bloody heroes.
i have had an unwanted visitor whilst i've been living it up in bali. a mouse!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm absolutely terrified of the little horrors and have spent most of the day disinfecting things. baits have been laid and i'm hopeful that this was a one of (should this be off?) incident and the culprit was working alone and now that i'm home will go away and leave me alone. i live in hope.

You work hard for your holiday Fran so bugger the expense, as long as you had a good time that`s the main thing....
You can keep the mouse....Touch wood we haven`t had any for awhile......
Well take care and have a peaceful week...Looks like a few warm days ahead of us....

  2. thanks Mandy, i totally agree. i set some traps but nothing. i put peanut butter in them. maybe i should have tried chocolate. they are those little box ones that trap the mouse so that you can release it to the wild or the rubbish bin. sorry mouse :(
